THEY HAVE ARRIVED!!!!! AND I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM BOTH! In fact, I am so totally mesmerized by them, I almost couldn't put them into the curio cabinet for their protection. Especially Elliott! He is just so cuddly! I could hold him forever!!!
I have to tell you that unwrapping them was one of the most enjoyable things I have done in a long, long time! I was alone, which is how I like to be when I get a new bear, and I had plenty of time.... and I savored every moment of "discovering" them.
Vivianne, they are GORGEOUS! If I didn't know better, I would believe that they were cherished antiques from many years ago that had been carefully hidden away in someone's cedar chest as a treasure for a future generation. And I would be that lucky person of that future generation!
Oh, how special I feel as their new owner! What a treasure I have come to discover in "my attic!"
You have capture the soul of the teddy bear in Elliott's eyes.... I can feel him watch me as I wander around the room.... and I can hear Mr. Blue whispering to him every now and then, reassuring him and soothing him.... they are almost that alive....
I want you to know that I will treasure my new friends forever! They will stay with me as long as the Lord allows, and hopefully my family will treasure them long after I am gone! And, I hope that our friendship will continue now that I have gotten to know you, too, because I am in awe of someone who is so talented and obviously so sensitive, because only such a soul could have created such a beautiful pair of creatures as Elliott and Mr. Blue. Thank you.
